About Elias Argentum

Elias was once known as Margulis oen Ravilla, and he was born into a family that served the Empire for many generations. He is the second born child of Augustus and Cecilia oen Ravilla, having an older sister. His father is a Legatus in the Imperial military and is considered being a man who does not tolerate insubordination, he is also an individual who believes in the aphorism 'might makes right'. His mother, while not a natural born daughter of Garlemald, was drafted into the service of the Empire from one of its providences and has since worked as one of its chirurgeon's. Since was a small boy Elias believed in what the Empire was doing, it was in everyone's best interest, his father always spoke of how noble and just the Empire was in the endeavor of uniting the world under the might of the Emperor. It was this that fueled his desire to one day enlist in the ranks of the Military.

By the age of twelve, Elias was enrolled into an Imperial academy along with several other children his age who've come from similar family. There were also some who were in fact given no other choice but to be enrolled. Among those enrolled were two of his closest friends, a Miqo'te hailing from a conquered providence, and a fellow half-blood Garlean. Throughout the years they spent at the academy the three worked effortlessly together, conquering whatever assignment their instructors had given them as a cohesive unit. During his time in the academy, Elias made his fair share of new friends, rivals, and in some extent enemies amongst his peers, some of which was in due to his family name. After spending four years in the academy, he graduated from and was assigned to the very same legion as his childhood friends, it pleased him that they would continue working closely together.

He was deployed to an unfamiliar territory of his homeland, though the Empire conquered it's own lands there still existed those who opposed its ideals, though in so few numbers that they were more so considered a nuisance than a threat. Elias tasks consisted of guarding the castrum he was assigned to, and routine patrols of a nearby town that was known for having insurgents. During his stay at the castrum, he would see his share of combat as he aided his comrades in putting down hostile insurgents and quelling violent protests. Throughout the years of his, Elias would see more things unfold that would technically put the Empire in the wrong. Things that made him feel quite conflicted about what he was led to believe. Eventually, he would become disillusioned with the Empire, and begin helping the people by stealing things such as medical supplies and food rations from the Empire in secret and giving them to those who needed it. Unfortunately both his friends learned about this and tried to convince him to cease, but he did not.

Through aiding the people Elias learned of a plot by insurgents, he tried to convince the people against this path but failed in so doing. On the eve of the attack, one was left of the insurgents and their allies stormed the castrum. Rather than aid in putting the insurgents down Elias attempted to aid them in what small barely noticeable way as possible. Despite his attempts to be careful he was once again found out by his two closes friends. Though X'nubi had a change of heart his fellow half-blooded Garlean, Kaeso, did not. In the hanger, the castrum the two fought, which ended in a tragic turn of events. Elias was forced to flee in a magitek armor as the last of the resistance was being put down.
