Marcus Gonzales wasn't always like this...he was formerly a human. Bright, kind, and anything you'd expect from someone who's willing to do whatever it takes to keep the peace and please everyone he meets. Everybody else, however, wasn't like him at all; constant bullying due to his form and shape, harassment and sometimes even discrimination, all for the things that he enjoys, one of them being the Sonic the Hedgehog series. In spite of Marcus keeping his spirits up and not giving in, his determination was beginning to wane. Then, things got nasty, and a bloody altercation broke out, resulting in the unfortunate demise of Marcus at the hands of those who've wronged him.

Even in death, however, rather than being ferried into the afterlife, Marcus was brought to DARKEND, the Epitome of Neutrality, having been recently resurrected by the Blessed One of Neutrality, having felt the pain and suffering of Marcus and, seeing that he was a believer of balance, would have him blursed, cursed in possessing the knowledge of the Ancient Ones, and as a result being kept from human reincarnation and forever locked away from the gates of Heaven and Hell, but blessed with a power unlike anything the world had seen, and given a new form of a Mobian Hedgehog, living within his own realm, albeit trapped in a CD, and thus Sonic.FAT was created.

Rather than turning to a path of evil like most entities do, Marcus (now going as Sonic.FAT) committed to himself as a judge, punishing those who have done wrong to others and refuse to change, and sparing those who haven't done wrong and/or who have, but are trying to change for the better of themselves. In spite of his now menacing appearance and his newfound size-shifting abilities and power as well as omnipotence, for those who've had the opportunity to meet him in person, albeit rather shrunken down, he's still that goofy motherfucker he's always been when he was formerly Marcus, just in a new body. Regardless, Sonic.FAT takes his role as a judge very seriously despite the rather...fetishy nature of his appearance.

Power Specialist: Darkend (Sonic.FAT is stupidly overpowered, but the thing that keeps him from reaching his full potential is his lack of experience, and thus he doesn't really know how to use his own power properly, thus he only ever uses his offensive power as a last resort. Despite this, he is still powerful in terms of physicality and agility, in spite of his own frame.)
